elements.
there are two things that my future dream house MUST contain...a SICK closet/dressing room & a really amazing, inviting kitchen! (clothes & food...makes sense) all other elements are much more secondary. i mean, i can make most anything work, i can be quite resourceful. but these specific rooms are what i most dream about. i can't stand it! (until then, i am super grateful for what i am working with. i have more closet space than one could ever dream, for a house that was built in the 1930's. massive!)
what i love about this particular kitchen - is the over-sized light fixtures, the tall ceilings and exposed beams, all the WHITE (i heart white, the more the merrier), the marble counter tops, the cacti cluster is quite an unexpected twist that i dig, and the big, old, beaten-up, gnarly kitchen table. all of it is so interesting & lovely at the same time.

i'm a sucker for a big ol beat up kitchen table! i can only imagine the conversations & the food that was shared around it...
